A few useful answers

Before your next recording.

Understand how NoteCube works, what is included, and what you control.

What is NoteCube?

NoteCube is an AI voice recorder and note-taking app for iOS and Android by SecondEarth. It turns lessons and meetings into transcripts, summaries and documents you can keep updating.

What can I use for free?

Your first cumulative 60 minutes of transcription are free. Summaries and notes from transcribed content stay free. Free usage includes 3 AI document updates and 3 social drafts per day. Every host can start an event with up to 20 attendees without an attendee pass; transcription usage limits still apply.

What are living documents?

Living documents bring material from separate recordings into one document, such as a vocabulary collection or project notes. You can review entries, update their status and inspect revision history rather than starting a new document after every conversation.

Do event participants need the app?

No. Participants open the host’s QR code or link in a browser, enter their name and choose a caption language. Contact information is optional. The host uses the NoteCube app.

How are Pro, credits and event passes different?

Pro is a recurring subscription with 300 transcription minutes per UTC calendar month and higher daily AI limits. Credits add transcription or generation usage. A non-renewing event pass raises the attendee limit for one event. Pro and Free hosts both start at 20 attendees.

Can I connect Claude, ChatGPT or Codex?

NoteCube exposes an MCP connection for compatible clients. The client must support the connection and authentication method. Features and setup vary by client and plan; naming a client does not imply certification or guaranteed compatibility. Review permissions before granting access.

Where are recordings stored?

Recordings and documents are stored on servers to provide transcription, saved records and document features. NoteCube is not an exclusively on-device service. The Privacy Policy explains AI providers, sharing and deletion.

Can AI make mistakes?

Yes. Names, speaker labels, translations, summaries and extracted details can be wrong. Check important information against the recording and transcript before relying on it.

Does deleting my account cancel my subscription?

No. Request account deletion in the app or by email, and manage subscription renewal separately in the App Store or Google Play.
