About this policy

These terms govern your use of NoteCube, operated by SecondEarth, including the app, event pages and AI connections. Contact sunwoo@secondearth.io. By using the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Accounts and lawful use

Use accurate account information, keep access credentials safe, and use only accounts and content you are entitled to access. You must meet the minimum age described in our Privacy Policy and have legal capacity to accept these terms. If you use NoteCube for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

Obtain the permissions required to record, transcribe, upload and share other people's speech or information. Hosts must tell participants what is recorded and shared. Do not secretly record where prohibited, infringe rights, distribute unlawful content, bypass usage limits or access controls, misuse another person's AI connection, or disrupt the service. We may restrict access to address abuse, security or legal requirements.

Your recordings, documents and AI

You retain your rights in your content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, transcribe, translate, format and deliver it through service providers solely to operate and secure the features you use and carry out your instructions. Sharing an event or exporting a document authorizes the distribution you request. You are responsible for the audience you choose.

AI outputs can omit or invent details, mistranscribe names, assign the wrong speaker or mistranslate speech. Check outputs against their source before relying on or sharing them. They are not professional advice or a guaranteed verbatim record. We do not guarantee exclusive ownership or uniqueness of AI-generated material.

An authorized external AI connection can read content or change documents within its permissions. Review important changes and use available history controls. Disconnecting prevents future access under that connection, not use of copies already received. External AI services have separate terms and availability; compatibility does not imply endorsement by their owners.

Subscriptions, credits and event passes

NoteCube may offer subscriptions, one-time transcription or generation credits, and passes for a particular event. The purchase screen shows the actual localized price, billing period, included usage, eligibility and applicable limitations before purchase. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled through the store, under its cancellation rules. Deleting NoteCube or your account does not itself cancel a store subscription.

Credits are service units with no cash value and are not transferable except where permitted by law or the product. Event passes apply to the event and participant tier stated at purchase; they are not a recurring subscription. Hosting currently includes up to 20 attendees for every host; events with 21 or more attendees require the applicable pass. Usage allowances are subject to the limits shown in the product.

Refunds and cancellation rights follow the purchase store's policies and applicable law. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated where required; existing purchase commitments and applicable rights remain respected.

Deletion, availability and responsibility

You may stop using NoteCube and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. Export information you need before deleting it. Source deletion may remove related document content. Provider deletions and cleanup may take additional time, with limited legal and security exceptions. We may modify or discontinue features with notice where required; we do not promise uninterrupted operation or recovery of deleted content.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of accuracy, uninterrupted access or suitability for a particular purpose. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law; you remain responsible for unlawful content or misuse you cause.

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes as required. For concerns or disputes, contact us first so we can try to resolve them. Applicable mandatory laws and consumer forum rights continue to apply.
