Quick answer
To share live captions at an event, create an event in the NoteCube app (“Host an event”) and show its QR code. Attendees scan it and read Korean or English captions in their phone’s browser — no app needed. Up to 20 attendees are free; larger events use a one-time pass for that event.
How it works
Create the event
Record → “Host an event”: set the name, date and place. Get the QR code in advance and add it to your slides.
Show the QR code
Attendees scan, enter a name and choose a caption language. Contact details are optional.
Record and captions flow
Start recording in the host app and captions appear on attendees’ screens in real time.
Share the record afterwards
Share the organized record and photos; attendees can leave feedback for the host.
For mixed-language audiences
Attendees can read a Korean talk with English captions or an English talk with Korean captions. Captions currently support Korean and English. Check important translations against the source.
When it’s hard to hear
Back row, echoing room, or a moment of distraction — captions let people catch what they missed.
Share links with care
Anyone with the link can see what it makes available; a QR code is a sharing tool, not a lock. Attendee names, contacts and feedback are visible only to the host.

Frequently asked questions
Do attendees need the app?
No. Attendees open the QR code in their phone’s browser. Only the host uses the NoteCube app.
Is the event pass a subscription?
No. A pass is a one-time purchase tied to one event and doesn’t renew. Check the final price in the app’s checkout.
Which caption languages are supported?
Korean and English today. Each attendee picks their own.
